Blue Igloo Community Pledge

This community pledge was designed to meet our goal of providing a uniquely enriching and nurturing environment for young children while protecting the health and safety of all members of our community. 

Everyone at Blue Igloo plays an essential role in protecting our community and respecting the rights of all individuals. 

• As a member of the Blue Igloo community: I recognize that my household’s behavior outside of playgroup directly impacts other families and staff at Blue  Igloo, and that following the principles of this pledge will protect our community and allow Blue Igloo to open and operate effectively.

• I will adhere to the health and safety policies, procedures, and protocols developed by Blue Igloo. I will adhere to all safety precautions established by Blue Igloo, local health officials, and the CDC.

• I will model and promote the values of respect, diversity and understanding in  order to maintain a strong community. 

• I will support the Blue Igloo staff and board members in their mission to provide  an enriching experience for our children. 

• I will use my cell phone respectfully, limiting disruption to play and protecting the privacy  of all children when taking photos/videos.

• I will not attend Blue Igloo under the influence of any substance. 

• I will not smoke within Blue Igloo or on the premises. This includes the use of electronic cigarettes, personal vaporizer, or electronic nicotine delivery system.

• I will hold others in our community responsible, and will be held responsible, for following all health and safety policies, procedures and protocols.
